Jam Factory Art Center is a project of revitalization of the former industrial neo-gothic building at Pidzamche district in Lviv. Initially the alcohol factory ‘Kronik and Son’ from 1872, and later vegetables and fruits processing base, it was neglected for a decade before grass-roots artist initiatives came to revitalize it. Harald Binder Cultural Enterprises bought the site in 2015 and its conversion into contemporary art center started. The construction and restoration works began in 2019 and the Center is to be opened in 2021. At the moment, the institution is located in temporary building and has launched its educational and grant programs. It is primarily focused on presentation, research, and development of contemporary art in Ukraine and East Central Europe, in international cooperation. See more http://jamfactory.ua
